Jodie Card is a freshman volleyball player at Reid State, majoring in elementary education. Born in Meridian, Mississippi, and raised in Demopolis, Alabama, Jodie attended Demopolis High School where she earned recognition as Tuscaloosa Player of the Week and was named MVP during her senior year.

The daughter of Addy and Will Card, Jodie has a large family with six siblings: Wyatt (20), Charlie Grace (19), Jake (16), Mikey (10), Jesey Mae (8), and Annie (4).

Off the court, Jodie enjoys doing puzzles and is a big fan of Jessie Murph’s music. Her favorite meal is steak and mashed potatoes, followed by chocolate cake for dessert. When it comes to sports movies, she loves Moneyball, and her favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother. Jodie admires Demopolis football broadcasters Kenny Freeman and Rob Pearson.

If she weren’t playing volleyball, Jodie would be playing soccer. She dreams of visiting Switzerland someday and hopes to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The person she’d most like to have dinner with is Harper Murry.
