Jorja Barnes is a freshman standout on the Reid State volleyball team, bringing height, energy, and a competitive edge to the court. A graduate of Prattville High School, Jorja begins her college athletic journey ready to grow her skills and make an impact.
Originally from Dothan and raised in Abbeville, Alabama, Jorja is the daughter of Pamela and Jeremy Barnes. She has two siblings, Carter (22) and Addison (18), and credits her family for instilling in her the drive and determination she carries into both athletics and academics.
Jorja is majoring in Cosmetology, combining her creative passions with a goal of building a successful career in the beauty industry. Off the court, she enjoys traveling, watching Love Island, and listening to her favorite artists, SZA and Usher. Her go-to meal is buffalo wings and fries, with brownies as her favorite dessert.
If she weren’t playing volleyball, you’d likely find Jorja on the tennis court — another sport she enjoys. She dreams of visiting Greece someday and would love to have dinner with her boyfriend. When asked what magazine cover she'd like to appear on, her answer is simple: Any cover — because she’s ready for whatever spotlight comes her way.
