Jeremiah Shady is a freshman golfer at Reid State with a standout athletic background and a strong academic focus in Civil Engineering. A native of Satsuma, Alabama, and graduate of Satsuma High School, Jeremiah made a name for himself as the Mobile County Individual Golf Champion and also excelled in basketball, averaging 21 points per game and earning All-4A Area 2 honors during the 2023–2024 season. His favorite meal is chicken alfredo, and he enjoys brownies, watching Outer Banks, and listening to Babychiefdoit. Jeremiah’s passion for sports extends off the course, with pickleball being a favorite hobby. He looks up to legendary broadcaster Rod Bramlett and dreams of appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Jeremiah would most like to have dinner with Tiger Woods and hopes to one day visit Augusta National Golf Club. If he weren’t playing golf, Jeremiah says he’d be on the basketball court. He is the son of Shep Shady and Bridget Hollis and has one brother, Jacob, age 13.
