Se’Laniyah Shipman brings bold spirit and creative energy to the Reid State Cheer Team. A nursing major with a strong sense of determination, Se’Laniyah is passionate about both her academics and her athletic involvement.
When she’s not cheering or studying, she enjoys coloring, watching Criminal Minds or Law & Order: SVU, and listening to her favorite artist, Mariah the Scientist. Her favorite meal? Chinese food — with a banana milkshake for dessert.
If she weren’t cheering, Se’Laniyah says she’d be playing softball, and one day she dreams of traveling to Belgium. She’d love to have dinner with Matthew Gray Gubler, known for his role as Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds — a nod to her love for investigative TV.
